Background
Born in 1913 and 1918 respectively, Pier and Achille Castiglioni were Italian-born Industrial Designers who worked on a range of projects from architecture, to lighting design, furniture, hi-fi consoles, and many other objects. Their works helped to establish Italy as a leader in sophisticated modern design after the second World War.
