Walnut adds timeless depth and character to your room. New walnut starts as a dark chocolate brown and beautifully ages to lighter brown or honey color over time. We hand select boards for color consistency when creating each piece of furniture but the color, grain patterns and other natural markings may vary.
Ash is a durable, timeless hardwood with sweeping, varied grain patterns that brings true character to your home. New ash starts as a pale cream and beautifully ages to darker straw tan over time. We hand select boards for color consistency when creating each piece of furniture but the color, grain patterns and other natural markings may vary.
Oak is a durable, timeless hardwood with sweeping, varied grain patterns that brings true character to your home. New oak starts as a light to medium brown and beautifully ages to deeper amber over time. For our rustic oak in our Dovetail Record Crates we hand select boards that have exceptional character creating a crate that has color consistency, but a more natural varied rustic look than most white oak.
Our leather is all sourced from 150-year-old American Tannery Wickett & Craig. We only use high end full grain leathers that are vegetable dyed, a traditional eco-friendly process that yields durable, character-rich leathers.
Our leather is much more durable and resilient than other top grain or chrome tanned leathers commonly used in the marketplace. Full grain leather is the highest quality leather that money can buy, coming from the outermost layer of the hide where the strongest natural fibers exist. The vegetable tanning process is a traditional labor intensive process that takes around six weeks to complete and creates a leather that is not only beautiful and durable, but much more eco-friendly than industrial alternatives. The end result is an extremely high quality leather that only improves with age.
